Who I am

This website is run by Bethany Headrick, a REALTOR® with The Headrick Team at eXp Realty in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. When this policy says "I" or "me," it means me.

What I collect

Information you give me. When you fill out a form on this site, I collect what you enter:

• Your name and email address (all forms)
• Your assessment answers and score (Downsizing Assessment)
• How many people are coming, and whether you want event emails (event RSVPs)
• Anything else you choose to type into a form

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site records basic details about your visit: pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location, browser and device type, and how you arrived here. This is done with cookies and similar tools described below.

How I use it

• To send you what you asked for, like a guide, your assessment results, or event details
• To follow up about your real estate questions or plans
• To send event reminders and occasional emails, if you opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime)
• To understand which pages are helpful and improve the site
• To show my ads to people likely to find them useful, and measure whether they work

Who I share it with

I do not sell your personal information. I share it only with the services that help me run this site and my business:

• BoldTrail (kvCORE), my customer database, where form submissions are saved
• MailerLite, my email service, if you opt in to emails
• Netlify, which hosts this website and processes some forms
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), through the Meta Pixel, to measure and improve my ads
• Microsoft Clarity, which shows me how visitors use the site, including heatmaps and session recordings

I may also share information if the law requires it, or with eXp Realty as my brokerage where needed for a real estate transaction you're part of.

Cookies and tracking

The Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity use cookies to recognize your browser and record how you use the site. You can limit this by:

• Blocking or clearing cookies in your browser settings
• Changing your ad preferences in your Facebook ad settings
• Opting out of interest-based ads through the Digital Advertising Alliance

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from emails anytime with the link at the bottom of any email.
• Ask me to show you, correct, or delete the information I have about you by emailing bethany.headrick@exprealty.com or calling 605.370.4383. I'll respond within 30 days.

Keeping it safe

I use reputable services with standard security protections, and I keep your information only as long as it's useful for working with you or as required by law. No website is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive details like financial account numbers through forms.

Children

This site is meant for adults and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If I update this policy, I'll change the date at the top of this page.
